Low light performance on the 6D is likely to be better than the 90D. It very much comes down to what you need from a camera. Video and sports/wildlife photography where long lenses and high shooting speeds are useful favour the 90D. For landscape and portrait work, etc the 6D MK2 may be a better choice.

In comparison, the EOS 6D Mark II performed better in the same situation. That said, image quality is still pretty darn good and shooting with the EOS R6 is an absolute pleasure.
The 6D has better high ISO image quality, but these two cameras are very similar in regards to image quality. I feel that the 5D Mark III remains a solid upgrade from the 6D, but the 6D has some features that will make it the right choice for many - especially the price feature.
