I have a Focus Estate MK2 1.6 TDCi, and recently it's developed a fault where after taking engine revs over around 2000rpm, and then depressing the clutch to change gear, the engine will stall. It can go a little over 2000, but not much. When it stalls, the engine restarts, but it has to turn over a few times before it will fire again.
Forscan run on starting my 1.8 (with no problems, just for info). But the 1.6TDCI is similar Ford Model: 1.8 TDCI Mk2 Focus Ford Year: 2006 UK/Ireland Location

Car is 2014 1.6 TDCI Estate, 30,000 mls. Problems - occasional '1/2' crank when start button pressed. Second press starts engine. Occasional failure to stop engine when button pressed. Display indicates ignition circuit off (ie pixelated with no text). Lights, indicators, a/c, radio not operating.
