I agree with a lot of the other commenters saying that the quality of Docs overall has really gone down since they moved a lot of production overseas. If you want a good alternative, and can afford them, I'd have a look at buying Solovair boots. They're made by Doc's old staff, in Doc's old facilities, with Doc's old equipment, as far as I know.
